Custom LinuxCNC Controllers

The Turnkey Control Center for Your CNC Project.  Eliminate months of wiring design, EMI troubleshooting, and component sourcing with a pre-wired, commercial-grade enclosure built to industry standards.

A Consistent Foundation for Your Build

  • Heavy-Duty Steel Enclosure: Industrial-grade, steel cabinet built to withstand chip fly, coolant spray, and harsh shop environments.
  • Flexible Input Power (120V / 240V Options): Configured to run seamless single-phase 120V for lighter setups or 240V for high-power, high-torque servo drives.
  • Mesa 7i96S Motion Controller: Real-time hardware step/dir timing and isolated I/O powered by Mesa's trusted FPGA architecture—pre-tested for LinuxCNC.
  • Matched Motor & Driver Integration: Custom-configured with properly tuned AC servos or steppers scaled precisely to your machine's axis requirements.
  • Hardware-Latching E-Stop & Safety Circuitry: Dedicated 24VDC latching safety reset loop ensuring true hard-stop protection—not just software interrupts.
  • Noise-Isolated Star Grounding: Engineered ground bus architecture and clean signal separation to eliminate EMI, floating grounds, and phantom limit-switch trips.
  • DIN Rail Modular Power Supplies: Clean DC power distribution for control logic, sensors, and drive systems using industrial DIN-rail components.
  • Industrial Bulkhead Connectors & Cable Glands: Fully sealed pass-throughs for easy exterior hookups without breaking IP rating or exposing interior wiring.
  • Professional Wiring & Machine Labeling: Neatly routed, ferruled, heat-shrunk, and wire-labeled end-to-end to make future maintenance or expansion straightforward.
  • Plug & Play Pre-Configured Setup: Ships fully assembled, wired, and tested—ready to bolt on, wire your axes, and start cutting right out of the box
  • Thermal Management: Integrated thermal management to protect drive electronics during long machining ops.
  • Includes Schematics: Complete, easy-to-read wiring diagrams ship with the unit.

CNC Control Cabinets Built for Your Machine setup

This enclosure is the prototyping control unit for my lathe, currently configured to run two axes alongside a servo-driven spindle. While this layout is experimental and intentionally temporary, future iterations will feature a streamlined DIN-rail-mounted power supply—replacing the top-right switching unit—and increased cabinet depth to allow direct back-plane mounting for the servo drive.

  •  Built for Reliability & Clean Signals

High-voltage power drives and sensitive logic signals are physically and electrically isolated. Combined with strict star grounding and EMI line filtering, you get reliable, repeatable cuts without signal degradation.

  •  Industrial Safety First

Features a hard-wired, latching E-Stop safety relay system. Power to the motor drives is physically removed on E-Stop fault, requiring a deliberate manual reset before operation can resume.

  •  Modular & Maintainable

Every terminal wire is individually ferruled and labeled to match schematic documentation. Din-rail mounting makes servicing, swapping, or upgrading drivers down the road simple and fast.
