1. Products

Rival Machining LLC sells CNC conversion kits and related components designed for use with metal lathes. Our products are intended for use by individuals with appropriate mechanical knowledge and skill. All installations are DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and are performed solely by the purchaser.

2. DIY Installation — Assumption of Risk

All products sold by Rival Machining LLC are designed for self-installation. By purchasing our products, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Installation is performed entirely at your own risk.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary skills, tools, and knowledge to safely install and operate our products.
  • Improper installation may result in damage to your equipment, personal injury, or property damage.
  • You should consult a qualified professional if you are unsure about any aspect of the installation process.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rival Machining LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:

  • The installation, use, or misuse of our products;
  • Damage to your lathe, machinery, tooling, or any other equipment;
  • Personal injury or bodily harm sustained during or after installation;
  • Property damage of any kind;
  • Any errors or omissions in installation instructions or product documentation.

This limitation of liability applies regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether Rival Machining LLC was advised of the possibility of such damages.

4. No Warranty on Installation Outcomes

While we stand behind the quality of our products, we make no warranty or guarantee regarding the outcome of any DIY installation. Results may vary depending on the condition of your equipment, the skill of the installer, and other factors outside our control.

5. Product Warranty

Our products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear. Please contact us if you believe you have received a defective product.

6. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Return Policy for information on returns, exchanges, and refunds. Installed or modified products may not be eligible for return.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
